There are three types of devices in fashion that interact with the world:

Readers – read information about what is in front of the reader, the type of animal, the type of block, players and information about them, the number of players on the server, the amount of substance in the tanks.

Writers – allow you to output information to the world – some effects (particles), sounds, work with pipes (from the Charset mod) and output a redstone signal.

Monitors: display various information from your variables.

As well as some devices for converting information:

Logic programmer – allows you to set up logical work with various functions (created by Readers and Readers) and produce a new variable that will perform some action or display information.

Smart lamps – will allow you to output the right amount of light, depending on the strength of the redstone signal.
